Salted Butter - 180g
Caster Sugar - 80g
2 Eggs
Vanilla Extract - 1 Tsp
Milk - 2 Tbsp
Self Raising Flour - 150g
Buttercream Icing
Salted Butter - 80g
Icing Sugar - 200g
Milk - 1 Tbsp
Red Food Coloring - 1-2 drops
Sugar Heart Shaped Sprinkle
Instructions
1) Combine salted butter and caster sugar. Beat until smooth and creamy.
2) Add in egg, vanilla extract & milk. Beat until pale color.
3) Add in self-raising flour. Mix until all well combined.
4) Fill cupcake liners with half full batter.
5) Bake in preheated oven 170°C, 15-17 min.
6) Remove from oven and allow to cool.
7) Prepare buttercream icing. Combine salted butter with icing sugar and milk. Mix until well combined.
8) Take half buttercream, drop 1-2 drops of red food coloring. Tint into pink color.
9) Transfer buttercream to piping bag.
10) Spread a layer of white buttercream. Pipe and decorate the cupcakes.
